Position Overview:
They are looking for a detail-oriented Estimator to support their growing pipeline of facade restoration and recladding projects. The Estimator will be responsible for developing accurate, competitive bids while working closely with the operations, engineering, and pre-construction teams. A strong understanding of facade systems, NYC Local Laws, and construction methodologies is key.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze architectural drawings, engineering reports, and specifications to determine project scope.
Perform quantity takeoffs and develop detailed cost estimates.
Coordinate and solicit subcontractor and supplier pricing.
Prepare bid packages and proposals in alignment with company standards.
Maintain historical cost data for future reference.
Attend pre-bid meetings and perform site visits when required.
Assist with value engineering efforts and cost-saving recommendations.
Qualifications:
3–5 years of estimating experience in facade or exterior envelope construction.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
